Sanitization
An antimicrobial sanitizing treatment for your duct system, applied after cleaning.
Sanitization is a finishing step after duct cleaning. Once the ducts are clean, we apply an antimicrobial product through the duct system to treat the surfaces air passes over. Many homeowners choose it to help reduce odors and freshen the system.
What’s included
- Recommended right after a full air duct cleaning
- Antimicrobial product applied through the supply and return ducts
- Treatment of registers and return grilles
- Guidance on when to run the system again
- Product information on request
Signs you may need sanitization
- Lingering odors from pets, smoke or cooking when the air runs
- You recently moved into a previously occupied home
- After mold treatment or a water leak near the ducts
- You want a fresh start after a deep duct cleaning
Why it matters in Arizona
Arizona homes keep windows closed for much of the year, so the same air moves through the ducts again and again. Sanitizing after cleaning helps leave your duct system fresher.
Common questions
Can sanitization be done without duct cleaning?
We recommend it after cleaning. A treatment on dirty ducts is less effective because it cannot reach the surfaces under the dust.
Is the product safe for my home?
We use products labeled for use in HVAC systems and follow the label directions. Ask your CSA for product details when you book.
