Coil Cleaning
Cleaning for the indoor evaporator coil and the outdoor condenser coil.
Your air conditioner cools your home by moving heat across its coils. The indoor evaporator coil absorbs heat from your home’s air, and the outdoor condenser coil releases it outside. When dust and dirt coat these coils, heat transfer drops and the system works harder. Coil cleaning removes that layer.
What’s included
- Visual check of the indoor evaporator coil (where accessible)
- Coil cleaner application and rinse (where appropriate)
- Cleaning of the outdoor condenser coil and fins
- Clearing debris from around the outdoor unit
- A check of the condensate drain pan area
Signs you may need coil cleaning
- Your AC runs longer but the house still feels warm
- Ice forms on the indoor coil or refrigerant lines
- The outdoor unit is covered in dust, leaves or debris
- Higher-than-usual summer energy bills
Why it matters in Arizona
Arizona summers push air conditioners to the limit. Dust storms coat outdoor units with fine dirt, and coils that cannot shed heat make the whole system struggle. Clean coils are one of the simplest ways to support your AC through peak heat.
Common questions
When should I clean my coils?
Spring is ideal, before the summer heat. Many homeowners also clean after monsoon season.
Can dirty coils raise my energy bill?
Dirty coils make your system work harder to move heat, which can increase energy use.
